On September 16-18, 2011, Märklin held their 8th biannual Märklin Days (Modellbahn Treff) and the event was a huge success. A highlight for collectors is the special, limited edition cars produced by Märklin and sold at the event. There is a small quantity of cars left, and Märklin is allowing Walthers access to the cars to distribute to dealers in the U.S and Canada.

As in the past, the H0 and Z Gauge cars come packaged in a commemorative tin. Anticipated delivery: October 2011.
