My Start with Märklin. The classic steam powered train operations were still indispensable as motive power on the German Federal Railroad well into the Seventies. These heavy locomotives created an incomparable atmosphere with their impressive background of sounds, fascinating running gear movement, and immense clouds of smoke and steam. The "My Start with Märklin" steam freight train starter set provides a living impression in model form of this unforgettable era.

Almost all of the current Era III cars from Central European railroad prototypes go well with this train set.
